Laboratory Technician - Casual

About the company/role:

• Leading technology company who develops products for a wide range of applications
• Located in Bacchus Marsh
• Full training is provided
• 2-month casual contract, working 2 days a week
• Contract potentially may extend further

Duties:

• Mixing of powders and chemicals
• Processing of samples
• Basic analysis of samples using basic laboratory techniques
• Record keeping of all samples and documents
• Supporting R&D and QC staff on pilot plant activities
• Ensuring safe operating procedures are maintained

Skills & experience:

• Bachelors of Science in Chemistry or similar discipline
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting
• Previous experience within a manufacturing setting working with powders/chemicals is highly advantageous
