Laboratory Technician (Env. Lab)

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in an environmental laboratory? We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Laboratory Technician to join our team on a casual basis at our Perth Airport facility.

This role plays an important part in maintaining our capability to analyse soil, water, and air, delivering accurate and timely laboratory results that support environmental monitoring and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our laboratory team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine preparation and analysis of soil and water samples
• Maintaining cleanliness of laboratory workspaces and equipment to prevent contamination
• Assisting with data validation for technical reports (where trained as a validator)
• Conducting scheduled instrument calibration and maintenance according to procedures
• Supporting sample receipt, unpacking, and registration processes
