Laboratory Technician

About the role:

• Graduate level role; it will involve routine and repetitive sample preparation and testing in a soil testing facility
• Casual contract
• Monday to Friday with standard working hours 
• Candidates must have a car as the role is based in Werribee.
• FRESH GRADUATES WELCOME TO APPLY AS FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
• Must be flexible to do either day/afternoon shifts (Morning shift 6-2pm, Afternoon shift from 12:30-9pm) 

About your duties:

• Preparation of samples from customers
• Basic wet chemistry preparations
• Calibrating Laboratory instruments
• General housekeeping.

About you:

• To be successful in this position you will have a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry)/Cert IV or an equivalent degree that incorporates some Chemistry subjects.
