Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Transports samples and trial mix tools and equipment to customer site
• Prepares and performs housekeeping on concrete trial mix tools and equipment
• Performs standard concrete mixing and sample preparation
• Conducts slump, penetrometer, and air content tests
• Prepares beam and cylinder samples
• Witnesses 3rd party testing (compressive strength)
• Manages documentation

Qualifications:

• College Graduate
• At least one (1) year related work experience, laboratory technician preferably from testing center.
• Familiar with basic trial mix tools (slump cone, mixer, cylinder molds)
• Know- how on procedure of mixing concrete and assessing fresh property of concrete for water adjustments
• Know- how in standard procedure in conducting the tests, such in laboratory testing
• Computer literate
• Must know how to drive motorcycle...
