**Job** **Overview** **:**

Under supervision of Site Manager and Superintendent, employee will perform a variety of rigorous physical tasks outdoors in all types of weather in support of decommissioning and demolition of the Ion Beam Facility at Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**

+ Support collection of waste samples
+ Assist with setup, construction, and teardown of site controls for controls of radiological, chemical, and asbestos hazards
+ Investigate, drain, and dismantle building systems
+ Operate hand tools and power tools, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials
+ Handle hazardous, non-hazardous, and radiological waste materials
+ Other project support duties as assigned
+ Work may be required in hazardous or radiological environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
