Land and Due Diligence Head

The Land and Due Diligence Head will lead all land-related legal and due diligence activities for the Meralco Terra Solar Project, ensuring land parcels are compliant, risk-mitigated, and ready for project development. This role requires a licensed Philippine lawyer with strong expertise in property law, land titling, right-of-way, and infrastructure/energy projects. The role is accountable for resolving ownership issues, overseeing legal compliance, and ensuring readiness for financing and construction milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Land Due Diligence & Risk Management
Lead comprehensive legal due diligence of all project land parcels, including:
Title verification (TCT/CCT), encumbrances, liens, easements, and annotations
Overlapping claims, adverse possession, informal settlers, and ancestral domain issues
Identify, assess, and mitigate land-related legal risks affecting project timelines, financing, or construction
