The client is looking for 1 Survey Crew , Crew Chief & Instrument Operators to assist the surveying team with mapping needs and projects throughout Eastern North Carolina. Instrument Operators are members of a Survey Crew. Instrument Operators assist with field surveying activities, including the maintenance of all survey equipment. Essential Functions + Responsibilities • Be assigned to a team that is responsible for surveying land and collecting data about land conditions prior to development projects • Adjust and operate surveying instruments such as Leica/Nikon, digital and automatic levels and various survey related software • Move and carry all surveying instruments at job sites across various kinds of landscapes • Be able to identify project survey control points and above ground utility surface features • Prepare or update field sketches of marked utilities and survey designated marks (i.e., paint) accurately setting or using available survey control • Surve...
