Land Surveyor in Training (LST)

McElhanney, a 100% employee‑owned and operated firm with over 1,400 staff across 31 locations, is seeking a Land Surveyor‑In‑Training for its Fort St. John office in the BC Peace Region. This role offers an opportunity to support oil‑and‑gas development, land development and infrastructure projects while advancing toward a British Columbia Land Surveyor commission.

The Opportunity

As a Land Surveyor‑In‑Training, you will assist in the delivery of construction, engineering and legal surveys, working both field and office, and collaborate with geomatics technologists and legal surveyors to provide projects across Northern BC. You will be mentored and given increasing responsibility as you build experience and regulatory competency.
