Job Description

The Northern Yarra Landcare Network (NYLN) is seeking a passionate and communityminded Landcare Facilitator to support local Landcare groups, landholders and volunteers across the Chum Creek, Dixons Creek and Steels Creek areas. This role is funded through the Victorian Landcare Facilitation Program (VLFP) and plays a vital part in strengthening grassroots environmental stewardship.

About the Role

As the Landcare Facilitator, you will work closely with volunteer groups, landholders, Traditional Owners, community organisations and government partners to:

  • Support Landcare groups and the NYLN to plan, resource and deliver onground NRM projects
  • Build the capacity and resilience of volunteer groups and committees
  • Engage diverse community members in environmental volunteering
