Sahtu Secretariat Inc. (SSI) – Lands and Resources Advisor in Yellowknife, NWT. Role Summary: SSI seeks a Lands and Resources Advisor to advocate for Sahtu beneficiaries in lands, resources, and environmental matters. This position ensures responsible stewardship of Sahtu lands while advancing the region’s priorities through effective collaboration, research, and capacity building.

Responsibilities

• Represent SSI in lands and environmental working groups and committees.
• Manage lands and resources files, providing informed recommendations.
• Engage with stakeholders to foster partnerships and achieve shared goals.
• Conduct research and analysis on environmental trends, policies, and impacts.
• Support capacity building for resource management within the Sahtu Region.
