Binnies is proud to be working in joint venture with Arup as the delivery partner for SESRO, supporting Thames Water in securing a Development Consent Order (DCO) for this nationally significant infrastructure project. Together, we are responsible for all design, consenting, and environmental services for the integrated scheme. As one of the largest reservoirs in the country, this project not only aims to secure vital water resources but also aspires to deliver a future legacy of significant green infrastructure, leisure and recreational opportunities. Other work you might get involved in includes the planning and design of nature-based solutions such as wetlands, river restoration projects, and Biodiversity Net Gain schemes across the UK water industry, along with flood risk management schemes for clients such as the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales.
