**Job Summary**

+ The Landscape Leadsman is responsible for performing a wide range of landscape and irrigation installation and maintenance tasks. This position oversees crew safety and compliance while performing and directing landscape and irrigation tasks such as planting, sod installation, and sprinkler setup.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment to perform landscaping and irrigation tasks such as laying sod, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and installing sprinklers
+ Ensure that all employees attend the weekly tailgate meetings
+ Follow and enforce safety standards by:
+ Identify and review potential traffic hazards
+ Perform hard hats and safety gear checks
+ Conduct underground utility and trade hazard reviews
+ Ensure general public safety around the job site
