Job Description

Language and Conference ServicesTerminologyKnowledge of the principles of terminology and ability to research terminology-related issues.Language and Conference ServicesTranslatingDemonstrated aptitude for technical and general translation work and broad general knowledge.Language and Conference ServicesTranslation Support ToolsKnowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office software and IT translation tools.

Qualifications, Experience and Language skills

  • Bachelor's Degree - University degree in languages or a related field. Degrees in other fields will be considered, as appropriate.

  • At least five years of relevant working experience in translating texts into Chinese.

  • Experience in an international organization would be a strong asset.

  • Chinese as mother tongue or principal language of education, with a profound knowledge of its grammar, style and usage.
