Laser Machine Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate laser cutting machines to perform standard cutting operations accurately.
• Select appropriate cutting programs and fixtures for each job.
• Set proper stop locations and adjust the laser beam's focal point to ensure precision.
• Prepare and set up the machines correctly for cutting tasks.
• Conduct prescribed routine maintenance on the equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspections to verify accuracy of cuts.
• Identify and report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Carry out additional tasks as needed to meet production demands.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• A graduate degree in Industrial Technology or Mechanical Technology.
• Proficiency in computer applications, specifically 2D and 3D drafting with software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Microsoft Office.
