LASER MACHINE OPERATOR - THETFORD - PERMANENT FULL TIME - HOURLY RATE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE BUT FROM £14 PER HOUR - MONDAY TO THURSDAY 8AM-4.30PM AND FRIDAY'S 8AM TO 3.30PM (30 MIN LUNCH 12.30PM TO 1PM)
Our client is a well-established steel cutting and fabrication organisation based in Thetford. Our services include rolling, forming, plough grinding, and plasma, flame, water jet, and laser cutting.
They are currently seeking an experienced Laser Machine Operator to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Load materials onto a Bodor Laser machine and operate using programs provided by the production team
Adjust machine software settings to achieve optimal cutting results
Work accurately from works tickets and technical instructions
Conduct rigorous size checks on finished parts using micrometers
Inspect and approve finished goods before sorting and preparing for dispatch
Work independently with minimal supervision
