Lashing Specialist

Job Description:

The role is a Stevedore Cargo Master is to perform lashing/unlashing operations on board vessels, vessel berthing/unberthing operations, container reefer, plugging/unplugging operations and water bunkering operations at PSA Container Terminal.

Job Duties:

• Prior to the commencement of operations, all personal protective equipment (PPE) i.e. uniforms, safety helmet, body harness, safety shoes, life jacket and any other necessary safety gears must be worn
• Prepare in advance the necessary equipment e.g., Twist locks, lashing gears etc. necessary for the container lashing/unlashing operations. While using equipment, work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to standard operating procedure and complying to safety rules and regulations in the operational areas
• Assist in berthing/unberthing operations
• Assist in water bunkering operations
