Lathe Machine Operator

Responsibilites :

• Operate conventional lathe machine as per drawing specifications.
• Perform turning operations such as facing, threading, drilling, boring, and taper turning.
• Set up and align workpieces using proper clamping methods.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and maintain cutting parameters.
• Read and understand engineering drawings to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.).
• Ensure required tolerances and surface finish standards are achieved.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
• Report machine issues or quality concerns to the supervisor.
