Laundry Attendant

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothes and linens in hotels, hospitals, or commercial laundry facilities. They ensure all items are cleaned properly and returned in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, uniforms, and guest clothes
• Operate laundry machines (washers, dryers, pressers, ironing equipment)
• Inspect items for stains and damage before and after washing
• Apply proper cleaning agents and follow washing instructions
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area
• Report any machine malfunctions to the supervisor
• Ensure timely delivery of cleaned items

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• With or ojt experience (experience is an advantage)
• Knowledge of fabric types and stain removal is a plus
• Attention to detail and time management skills
