Position Summary: To ensure that laundry is cleaned and maintained in a manner consistent with a superior quality hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity
 Retrieve, sort and load soiled laundry into washing machines
 Load clean laundry into the dryers
 Sort and folds laundry when dry
 Ensure items to be ironed are put into automatic presser machine (Niagara properties only)
 Count, sort and check laundry items to ensure proper inventory of all items
 Inspect all items for damage, thinning, stains, wrinkles and discards
Logging information for count, damage, thinning, stains, wrinkles and discarded items (Niagara properties only)
 Monitors all machines and reports any machine breakdowns to the Maintenance department
