LAYOUT INSPECTOR - Whitehall Casting

This off-shift Layout Inspector position will be located in our Whitehall Casting Operation. The Layout Inspector will provide accurate dimensional inspections of structural castings to support engineering and manufacturing operations. Report inspection results per customer and internal requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and Blue Light Scan Machines to support production.

+ Develop and modify inspection programs for equipment.

+ Generate and verify dimensional portion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

+ Complete custom inspections (Layout requests) as needed for engineering.

+ Calibrate and service handheld measurement equipment at a basic level.

+ Assist in maintaining tooling and calibration database.

+ Assist shop floor with machine and handheld measuring equipment as needed.
