LD18254 - Contract Underground Mine Geologist (Immediate Start)

Our client is a well-established Australian gold producer with multiple underground operations and is seeking experienced Underground Mine Geologists to provide coverage and maintain strong geological control during a busy operational period, with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

Contractors must have:

• Demonstrated experience as an Underground Mine Geologist in an underground gold operation.
• Proven competence in face mapping, sampling and production geology interpretation.
• Familiarity with orogenic gold systems, particularly shear-zone hosted deposits.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver outputs with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in digital geology tools (e.g. Deswik, Leapfrog, Imago) and solid Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to provide clear geological guidance to production and technical teams.
