Now, we're seeking a LEAD ACCOUNTANT, based in Gauteng (South Africa).
On a typical day you will:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
