Responsibilities IAW, DoD7400.14R, DoDFMR Volume5, Chapter 5, incumbent of this position will be required to serve as a certifying official and is subject to pecuniary liability for illegal, improper, or incorrect payments made by DoD. Serves as a Certifying Official responsible for verifying, balancing, and reconciling supporting documentation files with listings and reports. Identifies discrepancies among accounts and makes necessary adjustments. Serves as a Lead Accounting Technician responsible for distributing and balancing workload, ensuring timely accomplishment of work and reviewing, amending or rejecting work not meeting established standards.
