Lead AI Engineer

Allexive is the AI transformation arm of the Overdose Group working with commerce, financial services and tourism companies, including Mitre 10, Target Furniture, Petbarn, RealNZ, and Opes Mortgages.

We work across three altitudes:

• Build (production-grade AI and agentic systems shipped into the client's environment, as a PoC or multi-phase Build Sprint)
• AI Platform Implementation (standing up a client team's AI operating model: data, platform, context, agents & skills, and the change management to make it stick), and
• Enterprise AI infrastructure (architecting the shared AI plane the rest of a client's AI strategy runs on).

Our pipeline is outpacing capacity, and the technical surface area is widening across all three altitudes. We're looking for someone to support the technical direction of the business as we scale into new markets and new services.
