Lead Buyer/Purchasing Manager

Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite; Office Location: MOA Complex Pasay City
Work Schedule: Dayshift (Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM)

About the role:

• We are currently helping our client, a key player in the Shipping/Maritime Transportation domain, to fill a Lead Buyer position. In this role, the Lead Buyer will be responsible for supervising a team of Buyers/Senior Buyers and providing daily support to the team, including coordination of quotations, cost comparisons, and liaising with suppliers.

Key Qualifications:

• Degree holder of any 4-year course with minimum 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience in procurement, preferably shipping industry.
• With strong English speaking and written skills.
• Experience in the ship management industry as a Buyer or Senior Buyer is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and PARIS.
