Overview

Summary
We are currently helping our client, a key player in the Shipping/Maritime Transportation domain to fill a Lead Buyer position.

In this role, the Lead Buyer will be responsible in supervising a team of Buyers/Senior Buyers and provide daily support to the team, including, coordination of quotations, cost comparisons and liaising with suppliers.

What you bring:

• Degree holder of any 4 years course with minimum 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience in procurement, preferably shipping industry.
• With strong English speaking and written skills
• Experience in the ship management industry as Buyer or Senior Buyer is desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications and PARIS
• Supervisory skills and ability to lead a team
