Lead Clinical Dialysis Tech - UPMC Shadyside/St. Margaret

Oversee and coordinate all technical operations for the department involving the preparation, operation and maintenance of equipment used for Hemodialysis/CRRT.

Hours:

+ 4x10hr shifts Responsibilities: 1.) Keep/maintain targeted flow of monthly machine culture/endotoxin sendoff
+ 2.) Follow up with samples reported out of range-recollection follow up
+ 3.) Maintain sample results within Excel file
+ 4.) Key point person for D&D lab follow up if needed
+ 5.) Maintain communication/throughput with biomed related to Machine repairs and delays
+ 6.) Present, via TEAMS, machine culture/endotoxin results during bimonthly Dialysis quality meeting
+ 7.) Provide monthly review/audit of all machine log sheets with report out (missing data or instances of noncompliance with established departmental policy and procedures.
