Lead Counsellor, Camp Ridley

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Plan and deliver engaging educational and recreational programming aligned with weekly camp themes.

·Lead, coach, and support Junior Counsellors to foster a positive, collaborative, and effective team environment.

·Create a safe, inclusive, and enthusiastic camp environment for campers and staff.

·Model positive behaviour, sportsmanship, and professionalism at all times.

·Enforce camp policies, procedures, and safety guidelines consistently.

·Supervise camper behaviour and maintain appropriate discipline during activities.

·Track attendance and complete incident and accident reports, escalating concerns to camp leadership as required.

·Communicate with parents regarding camper experiences when appropriate and support overall program operations.

·Mandatory participation in Ridley Standard First Aid and CPR/AED training if not already certified.
