Lead Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and layouts for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including the selection of appropriate solar panels, inverters, and other system components.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope to create accurate and efficient system designs.
• Design electrical wiring plans, including the integration of solar systems with existing electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and standards.
• Perform energy yield simulations and financial modeling to predict the performance and economic viability of solar projects.
• Optimize system design for maximum efficiency and return on investment.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and construction drawings.
