Summary



Is the go-to/charge person in the absence of the Supervisor/Manager. Responsible for assisting with training staff, providing input on co-worker performance/disciplinary issues, and providing input on hiring decisions. Serves as a resource/expert to other staff members. Under the direction of the department manager/supervisor, and in collaboration with perioperative manager, responsible for oversight of the planning, organization, maintenance and documentation of crucial surgical supplies needed within the Perioperative environment. Works in collaboration with the surgery and SCORe teams to ensure the needs of the patient, surgeon and perioperative team are met in a safe, timely and cost-efficient manner. Utilizes the inventory management system to validate accurate patient charging occurs.
