Lead – Energy Management Systems (EMS)

Role Objective

Build Waaree’s EMS business as a standalone, scalable Product and P&L, enabling differentiation across utility-scale, C&I, and hybrid BESS projects —through in-house development, white-labeling, or a hybrid strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Technology Leadership

• Define EMS vision aligned with Waaree’s BESS roadmap
• Develop 3-year EMS product & monetization roadmap
• Architect EMS from cell → pack → PCS → grid
• Define functional scope:
• Battery dispatch & optimization
• Grid compliance & scheduling
• Degradation-aware control
• Cybersecurity & cloud architecture
• Lead development of:
• Core EMS engine
• Dashboards & analytics
• APIs for OEMs, utilities & traders
