Lead – energy management systems (ems)

Role Objective
Build Waaree’s EMS business as a standalone, scalable Product and P&L, enabling differentiation across utility-scale, C&I, and hybrid BESS projects —through in-house development, white-labeling, or a hybrid strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Technology Leadership
- Define EMS vision aligned with Waaree’s BESS roadmap
- Develop 3-year EMS product & monetization roadmap
- Architect EMS from cell → pack → PCS → grid
- Define functional scope:
- Battery dispatch & optimization
- Grid compliance & scheduling
- Degradation-aware control
- Cybersecurity & cloud architecture
- Lead development of:
- Core EMS engine
- Dashboards & analytics
- APIs for OEMs, utilities & traders
3. White-Label & Partnerships
- Evaluate global EMS vendors for:
- White-label
- Source-code access
- IP ownership terms
- Negotiate licensing & tech-transfer models
- Integrate EMS with Waaree BESS hardware stack
