**Job Overview:**

The open position is for the Sensors team under Avionics; in this role you will work as Lead Engineer - Mechanical in NPD Role.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Works on design and development projects to assist in providing technical solutions, verification and validation, and evaluating alternatives, including cost and risk, at various stages of the project such as concept, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal of Electromechanical systems
+ Knowledge in understanding design intent, functions, and compliance requirements for product qualification.
+ Good understanding of various manufacturing processes and the creation of manufacturing drawings.
