Lead Engineer

We are looking for a Civil Engineer (PrEng / PrTech) experienced in pavement engineering  principals and construction phase delivery of transportation projects to lead the development and delivery of these projects.
The position is based in the Cape Town office of a respected, well established engineering consultancy.
The main focus of the position is on the construction-stage delivery, encompassing contractor procurement, preparation of tender and contract documentation, and the effective administration and management of contracts during construction.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• Professionally registered with ECSA
• 8 - 10 years experience in the civil consulting industry and at least 3 - 5 years experience post professional registration as a Contracts Engineer on road / runway / taxiway rehabilitation and roads projects.
