Lead Estimator

What a strong start to 2026 it has been already. With a considerable increase in activity within the commercial construction sector this national firm is seeking to enhance their estimating capability within the Christchurch office.
  
The purpose of this role is to lead the Estimating function and commercial bids, overseeing all aspects of tendering, bid management and tendering administration while ensuring quality and best practices are achieved.
  
As part of the senior management team, you will undertake key estimating and tendering tasks, assisting in business development, securing client and sub-contractor relationships with existing and new clients.
  
The role will include:

• In consultation with the General Manager, target upcoming projects and business leads with key clients.
• Review opportunities pre-tender and contribute to decision making around project selection.
