Lead Estimator (Tijuana)

A growing, successful and well-regarded Metal Fabrication company that designs and produces stairs, guardrails, balconies and light structural steel to the construction industry is seeking an experienced estimator.
Preparing takeoffs from customer-supplied drawings and blueprints, including specification of products and scope of work.
Estimating labor hours and direct materials (BOM) and maintaining updated overhead rates to accurately price fabricated metal products such as stairs, guardrails and light structural steel.
Leveraging existing data and the recently adopted MRP/ERP system, Global Shop Solutions, to continuously improve bidding accuracy and timing.
Supporting value engineering efforts to lower costs and improve product appearance and function.
Responsibilities
Estimate material and labor costs of potential projects.
Maintain and evaluate standard rates for company processes.
Evaluate completed projects to inform pricing of future projects....
