Job Description
D-Wave is hiring a Staff Experimental Physicist to advance our quantum technology in Burnaby. This is an opportunity to lead in the experimental calibration of fluxonium qubits.
As part of the Processor Development team, you will have a Ph.D. in quantum computing or an equivalent experience of four years in a related field. Your role will encompass defining experimental strategies and addressing scaling issues related to quantum processors. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams will be essential.
Key Responsibilities: • Characterize fluxonium qubits through quantitative analysis • Investigate and address decoherence mechanisms • Develop high-fidelity qubit calibration techniques • Collaborate on simulation studies for device improvement • Document findings for team-wide dissemination
