Job Description
We are currently seeking to add a Lead Geologist/CPT department lead to our site investigation/CPT team for a full-time position in our Vancouver office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of technicians in the CPT department.
Carry out drill-based site investigations, which include, but are not limited to, soil logging during drilling, drill supervision, and performing electric cone penetration testing (CPT).
Analysis of CPT/Dilatometer data.
Preparation of technical reports.
Oversee departmental budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards within the department.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members as needed.
Requirements
B.Sc. or higher degree in geology, earth sciences, or related engineering discipline.
