Lead Hand - Extrusion

The Extruder Operator lead hand position has become available at our client site in Vaughan, ON. This is a 12-hour continental (day/night) shift position.

DUTIES:

• Work in a safe and efficiently manner, according to company policies.
• Set-up and troubleshooting Extruder machine.
• Set up & apply texture and coating line during product changes. This includes: downloading the queued recipe, physically installing the texture and coating equipment required as per the recipe. (Reports the changeover effectiveness)
• Sets raw material and scrap return feed rates.
• Sets additive feed rates.
• Monitors vacuum chamber for over-feeding.
• Monitors extrusion and pugging parameters for consistency and adjusts if required.
• Monitors Dust Collector and associated ducting.
• Continually inspects all visible portions of products for color/texture variance.
