Lead Manufacturing Engineer

Direct and coordinate engineering through subordinate engineers and technicians to meet production goals consistent with cost, high quality, profitability, and required delivery times. Interact with the New Product Development process to generate processes and implement plans for new products.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workload of subordinates, engineers, and technicians.
• Establish and monitor operational goals, objectives, and indicators for the work team to achieve the organization's goals and strategies.
• Participate in trend and management planning meetings.
• Interview and train employees to fill departmental positions, plan, assign, and direct their work, monitor their development, recognize and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve conflicts.
• Liaise with suppliers of required equipment and accessories.
• Identify product or process deviations.
