GFT is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to enhance our Buildings + Places Team in Toronto. This role offers a hybrid work model while focusing on innovative mechanical system solutions.
As a Senior Mechanical Designer, your primary responsibility will be the design and assessment of water conveyance structures. You will leverage your expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems through CAD modeling and load calculations while maintaining effective collaboration with team members and clients. Successful project delivery in line with client expectations is key.
Key Responsibilities: • Create mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems • Engage with clients and regulatory agencies effectively • Ensure timely project delivery within quality control guidelines • Oversee site inspections and evaluations for mechanical systems • Facilitate construction support and administration tasks
