The Lead Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Lead Medical Assistant assumes ownership and leads advanced and specialized administrative, operational, and customer support tasks that require independent initiative and judgment.

**Job Functions:**

+ You will perform clinical tasks, including discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs., medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and collecting specimens, performing diagnostic screening tests, sterilizing/cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms.
+ You will document information into the electronic medical records system.
+ You will collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
+ You will deliver direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows.
