**Role Summary/Purpose:**


We are looking for Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer focusing on valve technology to join our global FACTS (NPI) team. The position will be based in Tampere, Finland.


GE Vernova Grid Solutions Oy delivers mainly high power (>100MVAr) Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOM), Static Var Compensators (SVC), Fixed Series Capacitors (FSC) and Synchronous Condensers (SC). These are used to control power system voltage and reactive power flow as well as to improve the power system stability and transmission system efficiency. FACTS devices are also typically used to enable the integration of renewables to the power system making the future power system more sustainable.
