The Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Lead will engage, direct, and support activities that drive the ongoing development of the ABS HSQE safety program. This role creates reports and performs analyses on a wide variety of health and safety data, initiates or coordinates research activities in support of selected projects, and monitors ABS health and safety trends and performance for the assigned operating unit (Field Offices/Site Offices) as directed.
What You Will Do:
Policy, Procedures, and Tools: Lead or support the development, review, and enhancement of ABS safety policies, procedures, and standardized assessment/report formats (, facility safety assessments and Surveyor attendance safety reports).
Facility Risk Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct initial and ongoing safety risk assessments of shipyards, manufacturers, and other major facilities visited by ABS Surveyors, using risk ratings, prioritizing by visit frequency, an...
