Lead Practitioner of Maths

A “Outstanding” Secondary School in Redbridge is looking for a Lead Practitioner of Maths to start in September 2026. This full‑time, permanent role will work with the Head of Department to raise attainment and quality of learning across KS3–KS4 (with optional KS5).

Responsibilities

• Raise attainment and quality of learning across KS3–KS4 (with optional KS5)
• Work alongside a strong Head of Department
• Lead from the front, demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for Maths
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to design and implement curriculum changes

Qualifications

• High standards for yourself and colleagues
• Proven record of outstanding teaching
• Real passion towards Maths
• Willingness to lead from the front
• UK QTS
• Recent lesson observations graded “Outstanding” or “Good”
