Lead Program Specialist (Student Transportation)

Summary About the Position: This position is located in Fort Stewart, Georgia and falls under the DoWEA logistics division transportation branch. This position is not covered by a bargaining unit. Responsibilities Analyze documentation procedures and techniques with respect to cost, effects, and efficiency. Prepares documentation to support contract provisions. Monitor expenditure accounts to prevent over-obligation of funds. Provide orientation on bus safety and operations. Coordinate appropriate transportation for students with special needs. Investigate incidents of student misbehavior. Manage policy procedures relative to the organizations transportation program. Compile student statistical data for forecasting transportation requirements.
