Lead Python Backend Engineer – AWS Cloud & Microservices (FastAPI/Flask) Location: Toronto
Hybrid – 2 days in office weekly
Primary Skills: Python & AWS
10+ years in software engineering with strong hands‑on Python
10+ years in FastAPI/Flask, microservices, API development
Deep expertise in AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS/EKS
Strong experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/Jenkins
Architecture & design patterns, performance tuning, code reviews
Team leadership, mentoring, Agile delivery
