Lead Technologist, Mammography

**Position Summary** : The Mammography Imaging Lead Technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography and assist in other mammography procedures as required. The lead technologist will supervise the mammography technologists and be responsible for training, evaluation and staffing duties for the department. The lead technologist will also perform Quality Control and Quality Improvement activities relating to mammography. In addition, the technologist will be responsible for assisting with marketing and educational promotion of our Mammography and Stereotactic imaging services.
**Procedures and Examinations**
+ Performs/assists in mammography exams and procedures relating to breast health.
+ Performs/assists in Stereotactic Biopsy procedures to the specifications and expectations of the physician involved in the biopsy.
+ Correlates physician’s orders with the order requisition and patients’ identification and history to ensure appropriateness of examinations....
