Unique Safari Retreat is looking for a well rounded TRAILS GUIDE

The company’s ethos centers on being present and appreciating the smaller things in nature, through a holistic approach that values every detail of the environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• FGASA/Nature guiding qualification appropriate for game drives and walks in the Greater Kruger (or equivalent).


• Valid PDP and driver’s license.


• Current first aid certification suitable for field operations.


• Minimum of 3–5 years guiding experience in a Big 5 or similar reserve, including walking safaris.


• Strong bush knowledge (fauna, flora, ecology, tracking, birds) and passion for ongoing learning.


• Excellent communication and storytelling skills in English; additional local languages an advantage.


• Calm, confident decision-maker under pressure, especially in wildlife encounters and emergencies.
