Lead Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and/or account managers about briefs, deliverables, deadlines, and revisions
• Lead video editing projects from start to final delivery
• Assign tasks to other editors and manage workload/priorities
• Review and quality-check other editors' outputs (pacing, audio, graphics, specs, brand style)
• Edit both long-form and short-form videos personally when needed
• Create or enhance motion graphics (titles, captions, lower thirds, transitions)
• Keep projects organized (folders, naming, version control) and ensure smooth handoffs
• Track revisions and make sure all feedback is applied correctly before final export

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Video Editor (or similar role)
• Strong skills in long-form editing (YouTube, interviews, podcasts, webinars) and short-form editing (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)
